The Ugly Potato is shortlisted for External Communications Campaign of the Year

Oh yes my friends, after 6 weeks of serious campaigning we have officially been shortlisted for the External Communications Campaign of the Year as part of the 2degrees Champions Awards. Wooo hoo! Thank you ALL so much for your votes.

The Ugly Potato was a film commissioned by the Chemistry Innovation and Biosciences KTNs and our client Biome Bioplastics to demonstrate how innovative bio-based products could help us deal with our obsession with plastics. We were determined not to add to the dusty archives of dull science and technology videos, so we chose to approach the project from a different perspective, through the ‘eyes’ of a potato.
