BusinessGreen: GreenUrban threatens to leave UK over weak air quality plans

BusinessGreen reports that GreenUrban, one of the UK’s leading green technology companies, has warned it could relocate its business overseas as a direct result of the government’s failure to impose stricter air quality laws.

GreenUrban Technologies specialises in the manufacture of diesel particulate filters for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). In an interview with BusinessGreen, the company’s chief executive, Nigel Standley, said the UK’s failure to adequately enforce air quality rules means demand for its technology is likely to be stronger from Europe and the US.
