Life Size, Europe’s leading cleantech communications agency, has completed its transition to employee ownership, making it the first fully employee-owned UK cleantech business. As part of the move, Jan Christoph Bohnerth has stepped up to the role of CEO, replacing the agency’s Founder, Alisa Murphy, who will take a position on a newly created Board of Directors.
Since its inception 13 years ago, Life Size has worked with hundreds of European cleantech companies, helping them scale and communicate their impact to the world. The agency aligns strategic communications with its clients’ sales, investment and recruitment objectives to help them achieve their commercial goals.
Alisa and Jan will form Life Size’s new Board of Directors and be responsible for setting the agency’s business strategy and overseeing the running of the company. Life Size has also established a new leadership team consisting of Lucia Schweigert, who becomes the agency’s new Strategic Director, International PR Director Lee Lodge and Peter von Kageneck, who has been promoted from PR Manager to DACH PR Director. These structural changes will maintain the best quality of service for Life Size’s clients and help it build even stronger ties with all its partners.
Commenting on the successful completion of Life Size’s employee ownership transition, Jan Christoph Bohnerth said:
“Alisa handing over her company is a milestone moment. The team and I are incredibly grateful for what she has created and shaped. We’re looking forward to continuing her legacy by increasing our European footprint and making an even greater impact in the years ahead.”
“I’m beyond excited for the next chapter of Life Size. Our team is more committed than ever to helping our clients and their technologies shine, as being owners of the company is the ultimate incentive to give our best for cleantech’s success.” – Jan Christoph Bohnerth, CEO of Life Size
