They offer an EV charging software solution built on open source technology that makes EV charging reliable, interoperable and user-friendly.

The challenge

Pionix had an upcoming funding announcement, and they wanted to receive coverage beyond their existing ecosystem of German trade publications and niche media. 

The CEO, Marco, also had the goal of international recognition in a mainstream publication.

The solution

We built a PR plan and executed it to perfection, using a month-long timeline that allowed us to pre-pitch to high-value journalists. 

We also reworked the story to craft a concise press release with a suitably journalistic tone, utilised our extensive PR connections and supported in writing first drafts of all written interviews. 

The results

Pionix received coverage in all target areas, including its goal of international recognition in a mainstream publication by securing an interview in Forbes.

We further leveraged the funding round news to land written interviews for Tech Funding News and the Green Techpreneur, which were invaluable to communicate the company’s value clearly.
