A leading provider of long-duration energy storage that can be deployed at grid-scale today.
The challenge
Highview Power needed to overcome the complexity of the technology behind its world-first grid-connected liquid air energy storage plant (LAES) to make it accessible to journalists and convey its wider benefits. It also needed to generate excitement around LAES as most media was focused on batteries for long-duration storage.
The solution
We built a detailed communications strategy encompassing brand, PR and content.
After digging deep with an initial workshop, we delivered a bold rebrand, including a new website. Ahead of the pilot plant’s launch event, we used a carefully planned media strategy to capture the attention of key national media. Following the launch, we created a news-style film to tell the story of the world-first plant launch in a new format.
The results
The pilot launch received 125 pieces of coverage across 18 countries, including in FT, Forbes, The Guardian and the BBC, strongly establishing Highview Power as an industry leader and a major contributor to conversations about energy storage.
